On 12 Sep 1809 David Files still lives there. This land was levied on by virtue of a writ of Fieri Facias issued from Superior Court of Jackson Co on 13 Mar 1809, founded on a Judgment obtained at the instance of David Files & the said tract of land being levied on as the property of William Beard the defendant. The land was sold at public sale July 1809 at the courthouse in Jackson Co, by William Potts, Sheriff to John Hanson the highest bidder for $25. Recorded 12 Mar 1813.
